Setsubun is a festival, which occurs in February, and originates from an old Japanese custom. While waiting for the arrival of spring, people would force the leftover evil spirits from the dark seasons of winter outside by throwing beans and shouting, "Good luck, come in!" Narita's annual Setsubun festival also features special guest appearances by famous sumo wrestlers and television personalities.
