The start of our hospital begins in the Japanese medical care group in what was transferred by the Japanese Red Cross Society in 1948. Thereafter, for 60 remainders year, I acted in the enhancement of the medical care system as the core Hospital in north total area for the emergency care, the immediate nature period.
I tried for the cooperation with the local medical office, hospital, and it was appointed in a community medicine support hospital in 2006. Much designation including a critical care center, Chiba cancer medical treatment cooperation cooperation hospital, the disaster base Hospital is received now.
In addition, as the only Red Cross hospital in Chiba, disaster relief activities were performed for large-scale disasters such as the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, Niigata Chuetsu earthquake, 2007 Niigata Chuetsu offing earthquake, the Great East Japan Earthquake in Japan. On the other hand, a doctor, a nurse was dispatched in the field to engage in earthquake in northern Pakistan, health medical care support in Philippines, Pakistani dispute victim relief, Haiti major earthquake relief in the foreign countries.
Furthermore, as a hospital adjacent to Narita Airport, only four have the identification infectious disease bed that there is not in Japan and build the system which can cope for the threat of the infectious disease from the foreign countries immediately.
Our graduate school puts an emphasis for the skill up of the staff to provide medical care to walk a patient, families with a support, a patient, and they bring up people fortune.
All the staff are devoted in future and, to local all of you, will make an effort for an offer of "the medical care that mind is warm" that is the basic idea of our hospital which is safer, and is higher.
