Habu Jinja (Habu Shrine)

As Narita total local deity, it is called "Sannomiya" from people in neighborhood, and it is got close, and the Habu Jinja (Habu Shrine) is admired. There are many worshipers of easy delivery, first miyamairi and 七五三詣 and, as "God of the child care", is done veneration thick as (うぶすなさま) of tutelary deity of Narita.

 

 

The enshrined deity is 埴山姫之命 (はにやまひめのみこと).
火之迦具土命 (ひのかぐつちみこと: God of the fire) marries 埴山姫之命 (God of the soil), and it is written that 稚産霊命 (わかむすびのみこと: God of staple grains) was laid and comes from the Chronicles of Japan in ancient, having got staple grains from slash-and-burn agriculture farming that is soil and fire.

In the foundation generation, it was unknown, but, according to the Japanese name extract (the Chinese and Japanese dictionary which is in the middle of peace わみょうしょう), this neighborhood was said to be a clayish land county (habu cage), and the Yamato Imperial Court pro-earthenware maker (stamen) whole families which had culture about 1,500 years ago brought up food by slash-and-burn agriculture farming in the ground of this Narita and held communities.

The earthenware maker whole families made the unglazed earthenware (flip: the red-brown earthenware vessel of the unglazing after the Burial Mound age) using abundant 埴 (the soil was said to be honey はに in the ancient times) and ran life.
"埴山姫之命" which is an ancestral god, the patron saint of the whole families is enshrined, and what held ancient religious service is informed it with an opening.

The place where a main shrine is built is erected to the trace of the ancient tomb said to that the father of the earthenware maker whole families was worshiped and is enshrined in the high place in the town of Narita.

The Habu Jinja (Habu Shrine) is said to be popular name Sannomiya.
In the old days, many supplies were carried along a river from the Tone River basin.
It is said that it was sequentially most with Sannomiya of Gobu, Narita-shi that is Ichinomiya of Yakou, Sakae-machi in near the Tone River, Ninomiya of Matsuzaki, Narita-shi and a terminal.
The direction of our Shinto shrine is suitable for due west at the trace or the present and turns toward Ichinomiya, Ninomiya.

The gems and stones are swept beautifully, and the precincts are surrounded to refreshing air.
