佐倉城址公園

Ruins of Sakura Castle Park is a park established in the ruins of Sakura-jo Castle.
Castle tower trace, a lot of remains of an ancient structure of the castle including the dried foss are left in the park, and, including "couple evergreen tree of the family Theaceae" of about 400 years of the castle tower trace side years old (Chiba designated Natural monuments), the big trees such as chinquapin, willow oak, the maple are the historical parks where there is much green in everywhere.
The Minamide-maru and the Nishide-maru protected in castle tower trace and huge horse soup stock dried foss, Mizubori are must-see.
When a nurse let a young prince play in the bank of the pond in the garden in the old days, the sad story that has let apologize, and young princess drown reaches it; there are "a pond and 三逕亭 (tea-ceremony room) (さんけいてい), cherry blossoms and a peony, a plum, an iris garden, the colored leaves 姥", and the figure of families opening a lunch throughout the year is founded.
There is Ruins of Sakura Castle Park control center (Ruins of Sakura Castle Park center) which displayed a model about Sakura-jo Castle and an old photograph, exhumation remains at the east end of the park.
