Chiba Prefectural Chiba Prefectural Boso-no-Mura (Boso Village)

The Chiba Prefectural Boso-no-Mura (Boso Village) is the museum which not only Nature in Ryukakuji, Sakae-machi, Inba-gun or the traditional history, lifestyle of Boso are observed, but also can be experienced directly. A merchant's family, a samurai residence, a farmhouse of Boso in the early stage of the Meiji are reproduced from last part of Edo era, and, as it were, there is an experience in the times when I got into one scene of the historical drama.
At the museum, a store displays an archaeology-related material excavated from remains of the beginning, the ancient times, the Middle Ages. Ryukakuji ancient tomb group proud of one of the best scales in the prefecture is located in the neighborhood and is maintained as a hill of the topographical record.

Every season, the a great variety of Events including a manufacturing experience and an agriculture experience, the experience for making regional cuisine is prepared. As the experience-based Events is to the thing needing a reservation, please refer beforehand.

Festival of Chiba Prefectural Boso-no-Mura (Boso Village) spring
[from May 3 to May 5]
In experience-based museum Chiba Prefectural Boso-no-Mura (Boso Village), "the spring festival" of the theme is held "play and a living".

By the spring festival, folk entertainment, the presentation of the street performance are planned other than an apparel transformation experience and boating every year in the times of the favorable reception.
Other than demonstration sale of the traditional Crafts and a delicious branch, the experience-based Events to be able to enjoy in parent and child is held.

Museum of Aeronautical Sciences

The Museum of Aeronautical Sciences that various Events is performed through the year including display and the lecture about the airplane. The mock-ups (size of the original model) of the guest room of シュミレーター and the jumbo jet of the operation experience are displayed.

National Museum of Japanese History

The National Museum of Japanese History got close to by a nickname of "National Museum of Japanese History" (れきはく) is national history Museum of study, our country one and only to display generally about Japanese history and culture.
