Hydrangea macrophylla, about 7,000 hydrangeas including the Hakuyou hydrangea are planted in the precincts spreading out in the Sogo Reido Sanctuary Daihondo Hall back including a convention hydrangea.
In 2023, a concert and a tea party are held on Sunday during the Sogo Reido Hydrangea Festival period of from June 4 to June 25.
